Quote questions
Four things to settle before a quote
- What do you need for a quote
- Product name, HS code, packages, gross weight, volume, port of loading, port of discharge, Incoterms and target sailing, plus whether you need trucking, customs clearance or insurance. The more complete the details, the closer the quote to the final cost.
- What makes up the rate
- Ocean or air freight, terminal handling, trucking, customs and document fees, listed by node. Destination charges are quoted separately and not folded into origin costs.
- Can you clear customs and deliver at destination
- Confirmed per destination and cargo. The quote states whether clearance and delivery are included, and what is excluded.
- How is the cargo tracked after arrival
- By bill of lading number, through arrival, collection and container return. Re-booking, inspection or port delay is explained the same day.
Send the cargo details and destination. We reply with an itemised quote on business days.
